Abstract
This article analyzes the interrelation between narcissism and patriarchy in the
novel “This Road Has No Bumps” by Maryam Jahāni. It examines the relationships between characters – particularly among husbands and wives, cousins, and siblings – focusing
on the manipulative dynamics displayed by men and the recurring patterns of patriarchal
behavior. Furthermore, it explores how narcissism emerges within both familial and social
